Refund & Cancellation Policy — Scope.fish

This Policy is part of our Terms of Service. It explains cancellations and refunds for each type of product.
1. Pro Tools Subscription ($20/month)
- Cancel anytime. You can cancel from your account (which opens our payment processor's portal). Your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and it will not renew after that.
- Because you can cancel at any time before renewal and keep what you paid for, subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods or unused time. Canceling does not entitle you to a refund of subscription payments already made.
2. Hand-History Subscriptions (Weekly / Monthly)
- Cancel anytime, with the same terms: access continues through the paid period and does not renew.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial or unused periods.
- What a subscription is. A hand-history subscription grants you access to the hand histories we capture and publish during your billing period. It is not a guarantee of any specific number of hands, of any specific tournaments, tables, or formats, or of 100% capture coverage. Our measured capture coverage and any detected outages are published and continuously updated on our Coverage page, which you should review before subscribing.
3. One-Time Hand-History Purchases
- These are digital data products delivered electronically. Because access to the data is delivered immediately and cannot be "returned," all sales are final and non-refundable once the product has been delivered, made available for download, or accessed by the purchaser — whichever occurs first.
- A purchase entitles you to download the data product you bought, on demand, for the access window described at purchase. Scope.fish may limit the duration for which purchased files remain available for re-download; any such access period will be disclosed at the time of purchase.
- Coverage is disclosed and accepted before you pay. For the date range you select, we display the measured capture coverage and any detected outages (in minutes) before you complete your purchase, and you confirm that you have reviewed it at checkout. By completing the purchase you accept the coverage as displayed for those dates. A difference between displayed coverage and 100% — including detected outages, lower-coverage days, or days flagged below our target — is disclosed in advance and is not a basis for a refund.
4. Data Availability and Third-Party Platforms
Our data is captured from a third-party platform (CoinPoker) that we do not control. That platform may, at any time and without notice, change its software, alter or restrict access, go offline, or otherwise interrupt our ability to capture data. You acknowledge that capture may be partially or fully interrupted by such events, that resulting gaps or reduced coverage are outside our control, and that they are not a basis for a refund of any subscription or completed purchase. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to restore capture promptly when interruptions occur, but we make no guarantee of uninterrupted capture or of any future volume of hands.
5. Billing Errors and Exceptions
We will, of course, make things right in cases such as:
- Duplicate charges or obvious billing errors;
- A failure on our side to deliver a product you paid for;
- Any refund required by applicable law.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact sales@scope.fish within 30 days and we will review it.
Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with poker results, strategic conclusions drawn from the data, changes in site traffic or poker ecosystems, the presence or absence of any particular player or hand, or other factors outside Scope.fish's control.
We reserve the right to issue a refund at our sole discretion as a courtesy. Doing so in one case does not waive this Policy or create any obligation to issue a refund in any other case.
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first at sales@scope.fish — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback for a product that was delivered as described, in violation of this Policy and our Terms, may result in suspension of your account and access. We maintain delivery and access records for digital products.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy; the version in effect at the time of your purchase or renewal applies to that transaction.
